Food Log, Day 2

Well with my Grandma passing away this morning, I wanted to use it as an excuse to eat like crap today. But somewhere in my thinking, I said lets not make it an excuse and lets make it a reason to live life better, because we don't live forever.

Did 26:48 minutes of running in the 100 degree heat outside, here in Las Vegas, NV

Breakfast:
Shake- 180 calories, 18 grams of protein

Snack- shake - 180 calories, 18 grams of protein

Snack- three bean salad- according to http://dailyburn.com/nutrition/food_search
298 calories, 12 grams of protein (anyone know how many cups are in a lb?)

Snack- Chicken Soup Mix- 70 calories, 15 grams of protein

Dinner- 1 piece of chicken with Italian dressing - 140 calories, 25 grams of protein
, some more bean salad(half of what I had the first time) 149 calories, 6 grams of protein

Snack- small english toffee ice cream cone- roughly 100 calories, 1 gram of protein

Snack- 2 eggs- 160 calories, 8 grams of protein

2 Bud Lights- 218 calories, 2 grams of protein

Total Calories= 1,495 calories
Total Protein= 105 grams of protein
Total Water= 108 ounces

What ever works for you Emmett...I dont mean to be critical of what it is you are doing...Looks like you are counting calories and eating things you want even having beer if you want it and doing just fine...you made me think too...thanks for your "spin"

My sympathies on losing your grandma. She's smiling at your attitude though, I'm sure. Releived that you're going to be just fine.

I've lost all my grandparents now, but they're always with me. So many good memories, and if you have that, fabulous.

Irene, your right, I shouldn't be having beer, but a little won't kill me. Part of the idea of the program, is you can eat what you like for dinner, but you replace breakfast and maybe lunch or some combination with a shake.
