At my Weight Loss Challenge I went up 1 lb this week, but I have been sick and haven't been able to exercise much at all. At the same time, I know that I want to lose a few more lbs. I weighed in at 165.6lbs at the Weight Loss Challenge. According to my BMI, a healthy weight for me would be 155lbs, so thats what I am looking to accomplish in this weight loss challenge. I am amazed I haven't gained much weight since Dec. 6th the Marathon, but I am glad. I still have about 10-15lbs to go to see my abs. Thats my goal. <br />For my business I started a second challenge on Sunday's that I am not participating in myself. It was a nice group of 6 people today. Hopefully next Sunday will be more.<br />On a sad note. My girlfriend and I broke up after just over a month of seeing each other. Its hard on my heart but I think it was the right thing to do. Too many things weren't working out. Since then I have been busy trying to help other people with their weight loss journey, through my business with Herbalife. Also I have been spending some time with my girlfriend. Here's a little bit of an update:<br /><br />I have a girlfriend now, yeah crazy hon. Its going pretty good so far. At my weight loss challenge, I weighed in at 163.6, and got second place. I lost just about 10lbs in the challenge that lasted 7 weeks. I am in between challenges now. I still want to lose a little bit more weight, but the big thing for me right now is losing more body fat percentage and getting my stomach tight, which seems to be the last thing to happen. <br /><br />I goal is to get my body fat to about 10% and my stomach to show my abs. <br /><br />My business with Herbalife continues to grow. I have been practicing consultations about the weight loss programs with friends and family. I am shy, but I am getting more comfortable with it. In August, my brother and I were both about 175lbs, we decided to make and bet and who ever lost the least amount of weight had to shave their heads. Well I weighed in at 160lbs and he weighed in at 154lbs, so I lost the bet. However I did get to the lowest weight I have been at since High School. So I was happy it streched me to reach for a new accomplishment. Even though I lost the bet what it made of me to try to get there and get close meant a lot to me! The support before the race, during the race and after the race from Team Challenge was amazing. It was incredible to see all of the Awesome booths, with the best running gear I have seen. Good thing I didn't bring any money because otherwise I would have bought a lot and I don't have the money for it right now. Got my packet and a free shirt inside which was Awesome, Suigo shirt, soo comfortable! I'm ready to Rock now!<br /><br />I ended up being $200 short of my goal for my fundraising. I still have until Jan. 16th to raise more money but I really don't feel like asking people after the race. If people do great but if not I will poney up the difference. <br /><br />Tomorrow, first thing, I have a training at the Suncoast for Herbalife, 10a.m.-4p.m., it will be a challenge waking up, since I am working 8p.m.-4a.m. tonight. After that, I am meeting up with Team Challenge(Crohns and Colitis group) at 6p.m. for a Pasta dinner at MGM Grand, then seeing Robin Williams at 8p.m.. I got a room for Saturday and Sunday at MGM Grand so I don't have to fight traffic. That and I love the spa suite they have there. I love Hot Tubes, Sauna's etc.!! The race is 6:15a.m. Sunday morning, we'll see how much if any sleep I get the night before.<br /><br />Wish me luck. They went over everything and told us the game plan. I am super excited and nervous at the same time. I was a little disappointed that more people didn't support me and the cause that I am supporting. I partly did it because I saw other people fundraised through their blog and got a lot of donations. I only got a few. Maybe I need to read a book on how to blog and make it more attractive for people. Just about no change from last week. I really need to get serious if I am going to have any shot at 155 by Dec. 12th. So I decided to go to the gym after work at 430am in the morning. I lifted some weighted, something I haven't done in quit a while and I did 4 miles on the treadmill. Afterwards I went in the sauna for 15 minutes and then the hot tube for 15 minutes, I love both! Great reward. Right now as I am typing I am having a herbalife shake. Hmm, tastes good and fills me up. I have been adding some Activa Vanilla Yogurt to it. Very good addition. <br /><br />Any support for my Dec. 6th race is huge for me right now. Finances are soo tight and I get stuck with the difference. I am anxious to see what the scale tells me. Before I even get on the scale though, I know I haven't gotten as much running in as I am suppose to this week. I missed my Saturday morning run with Team Challenge to go to a herbalife training in St. George, UT. The training was awesome but I never replace the run, I planned on Sunday and things came up. I planned on Monday and I slept in and things came up. I planned on going to bed right away last night and running today, but I slept all day, I just couldn't fall alsleep after work at 5a.m.. I work 8p.m.-4a.m. most days. <br /><br />Eating wise I have been descent. Been following my plan with herbalife pretty good. Two shakes a day, tablets three times a day. I am suppose to have one small meal and two protein snacks around 200 calories around that. I think I have been a little bit over that. I was doing very well with a food log but over the weekend stopped doing it. <br /><br />Well lets see what the scale tells me? I misunderstood some things and found out that I was suppose to pay the difference in the fundraising today. I had no clue. We were told we had until the middle of January but I guess that was just for a reimbursement. I will update you later on how I did.<br /><br />So far today, woke up at 3p.m., did some work on the computer, ran 4 miles. I was reading through our lesson today, which is about Metabolism: Truths and Myths and I thought this was a good piece from it-<br /><br />"If you weigh 150lbs and 50lbs of you is fat and 100 lbs is fat-free, then you would burn about 1,400 calories per day at rest. If you don't get much activity, you won't burn much more than this throughout the day. But if you weight 150lbs and 25lbs of you is fat, and 125lbs of you is fat free, then you burn 1,750 calories per day at rest. At first the scale said 174lbs, I weighed 169 last Wednesday, I was shocked, then I took off my belt and some things from my pocket, 172lbs, still shocked because I have been eating relatively healthy and I ran 11 miles on Saturday morning. I think even though I have been eating healthy, my calorie intake has been too much, so I have to watch that. <br /><br />After weighing in at my friends house, I went to work. Before work started at 9p.m., I was starving and decided to eat, put on my plate more food than I needed, I eat 3/4 of it and stopped and threw the rest out, which was good, it goes to a pig farm, so don't feel too bad and the food at work really isn't that good. The rest of my 8 hour shift, I had one instant herbalife shake with h30 hydration drink mixed in(180calories), two herbalife protein bars(140 calories each) and lots of water. When I got home from work, I was very hungry and had one abs burger(250 calories) with a think sandwich bun(110 calories) and water instead of the usual milk. I was still slightly hungry but I dealt with it and finally fell alsleep. Good day all in all. <br /><br />The scale for me sometimes is a reminder that I need to readjust. <br /><br />My goal is 155lbs by Dec. 12th when I go back to Utica, NY to visit family. Water has been good, I have been getting at least half my weight in ounces of water almost daily.<br />2. Food log has been good but the last few days I got lazy and stopped doing it.<br />3. I'm sorry guys but I haven't been reading 5 blogs everyday, I love the blogs, I just sometimes get worn out and just want to watch tv, I will read more blogs this week<br />4. Following my running plan pretty well for Team Challenge this week, did miss one day but the rest was good, did 11 miles on Saturday, that was Awesome!<br />5. I have been very good with getting in at least one shake a day and my tablets three times a day with food. I want to mix up my recipes with the shakes and get more creative.<br /><br />This week's goals:<br />My goals: 1. Drink at least half my body weight in ounces of water each day. 2. Follow my Team Challenge program and run four times this week for a total of 21 miles.3. Have at least one herbalife shake a day and my herbalife tablets three times a day with food.4.
