Scale, sad

Well I got on the scale yesterday and it said 182. Up 10lbs since I left for NY. I am sad and frustrated. When I was home, I just said to myself, I want to enjoy time with family and not think about my weight, my business with herbalife or anything. I did run 4 times while I was home, maybe more. But all of the homemade food, pizza's, wings, and alcohol really got to me. I put on my vest for work yesterday and wow did it feel tight. My weight loss challenge meets Sunday, I am not looking forward to showing that weight in front of everyone. I will do my best to keep things in gear the rest of the week.
While I was home, I did my first video and I posted it on youtube and also on my website- www.weightloss222.com, I did a video for this blog today before my run, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it on the computer.

Today was a good day. I started my food log again.

Breakfast: 2 Egg McMuffins with whole wheat, turkey and a little bit of cheese, and one cup of fat free milk
Ran 45 minutes
Lunch: Shake
Dinner: Shake
Late Night Snack: 3 pieces of Deli Sliced Turkey, Cup of Wheat Thins
112 ounces of water

You'll shake that 10 lbs in no time, but it is disconcerting how fast it can come back, isn't it?

Just shake off and start again. You'll have it gone before you know it.

Just start over..well not completely over, but you know what I mean. It will go almost as fast as it came.

Thanks for visting my blog.

I'm in the process of going thru all the red tape to get weight loss surgery. I'm going for the lapband.

I've added myself as a follower of your blog.

Hello Emmet, thanks for visiting my blog, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know how it feels to have a setback, but you seem to have the right mindset about getting right back up, instead of staying down. And good for you, doing NOW while you are younger. My best to you on your journey!

That ten lbs is toast!

You'll burn it off. NY can be fattening for some reason - the beer, the wings, the pizza, the beef on weck ... to name a few.

The name of the book is *Get Known Before the Book Deal* by Christina Katz. I'm going to go to her workshop in Portland in October.

Gaining weight is never fun and so easy to do when you are on vacation. Good luck getting back in the swing of things. I always find it easier to get back into the zone when I am home.

You have already commited yourself to getting back on track. That is the hardest part....and what I didn't do after my vacation last year...and ended up with more than 10 pounds to shake off!!!!

And look at the bright side.....imagine what it would have been had you not been running and so active!!!
