New Camera, Pics

Food at work. Plus herbalife raspberry tea. I cut 1/3 off the sandwich before I started to eat it, to cut down how much I eat. I threw the 1/3 piece out. Me just playing around with my new camera on break at work.
herbalife chicken soup mix, 70 calories, 15 grams of protein, ideal snack.

Cut the sandwich in half and threw away half. Some vegetables and water with lemons in it. This was at work also. I think people were wondering why I am taking pictures of my food, lol.

Got this recipe from Men's health. Its called the abs burger. I brought it to my weight loss challenge on Sunday and cooked it up and served it. Everyone seemed to really like it. Basic ingredients, 1lbs of meat, onions, oatmeal, spinach, mexican blend low fat cheese.

Where I bought my Casio Exilim camera. I am new to putting up pictures on here. How do most of you do it? I am going to try to do more videos too.

I thought about taking a pic of some of my food, but I agree with you... people must think of it as kind of odd. Maybe I should get a cell phone with a camera option for a sneak shot?

My sandwiches lately have leaned toward Boca burgers on wheat with mustard, hot sauce, and low fat cheese. If I did the math right I'm making a decent sandwich for just under 300 calories. For me toasting the bread is key too... it gives it a bit more substance.

But at Foolsfitness it's all about the candy bar snadwiches!-Alan

Black eyed peas are a southern delicacy! Ha! I buy mine dry at the grocery store and boil them up in water with some lean ham. You can get the fresh from the garden but it is ALOT of work. It is my son's All Time Favorite food so we have it every Sunday... A family tradition, if you will...

The best way to blog is with Windows Live Writer. Pictures are easy to upload and you can even do you're own editing with it! Try it out! (If you have a PC)

maybe you could make a sandwich and then cut it in half and save half for dinner????
Sorry, it's the poor kid in me. Your food looks good though. Chicken noodle soup is an awesome snack.

Odd in Las Vegas? Is there really such a thing? LOL

Love the pics. Nice camera. Looks like you're doing well in your choices, too.

You'll get used to the funny looks for taking food shots LOL! I had someone ask me if I was a food critic once when we were eating out. I'll say yes if it gets me better service :D

Great photos!

P.S. Please wrap the leftover sandwich rather than throw it away! Or maybe make a half sandwich to begin with? (I'm weird about throwing good food away--sorry!:))

I hate throwing away food. But at work they send it to pig farms, so its not a complete waste. I guess I could bring plastic wrap and use it for later.

Your pics look way better than mine! lol I'm still working on that myself.

Cutting away part of the food and tossing it is a great idea!

Hey Emmett, I need to ask you a massive favour. Myself and my partner Robert have entered a competition to win a trip to Thailand to help them with their tourism growth. We had to submit a 1 minute video about ourselves. Our video has been viewed around 600 times but some people who have not been on for as long have had around 10000 hits, i see cheating is obviously on their agendas, the first stage is supposed to be based on what the judges think of you but i suspect it has to do with how many views you get. So i am asking you since you have a large followers base if you would be willing to write a wee blog to your followers and ask them to follow the link at the bottom and view the video of myself and Robert, feel free to view it as many times as you want as it increases the viewage, i have noticed you only need to watch the first couple of seconds and then you change page and go back and woola another 1 view :) Cheating? maybe, but it seems thats what everyone else is doing. I know that your friends and families don't know me and Robert but it would be totally appreciated.
