Weekend

Well my weekend went well. Met a new girl from online dating and we hung out and had a great time together.

Saturday morning I metup with my Team Challenge group for the last time before my first half marathon on Dec. 6th. They went over everything and told us the game plan. I am super excited and nervous at the same time. I can't wait.
Still short of my fundraising goal by $350, I will have to make up the difference. Its ok, but cost me more than I thought. I was a little disappointed that more people didn't support me and the cause that I am supporting. I partly did it because I saw other people fundraised through their blog and got a lot of donations. I only got a few. Maybe I need to read a book on how to blog and make it more attractive for people. I have also considered joining the foodies world of blogging and foodbuzz, maybe that would help, who knows.

Monday morning right now and I am trying to get as much done as possible. It never seems like I have enough time.

Hey emmett,
lol, maybe your blog readers are poor (I know I am lol)
Glad you had a date, I hope it works out for you.
Good on you for supporting your cause. I would say 350 dollars is a fairly large tithe.

Remind everyone the deadline is coming up. :) Folks forget ... get absent-minded.

Also fantastic is that you met a she and had a good time. :)

I hope more people can donate for you! Even a few dollars can make a difference. :)

Congrats on meeting someone online. It works- that is how I met my BF :)

It is tough getting up enough traffic to raise that kind of money. Just keep plugging away at it though. The perseverance helps.

By the way, you mentioned on Chris's blog that you have a gauge to measure the calories you burn at rest. Is this something you sell?

Good luck with your race! I know you'll do well.

I didn't have much success with my Juvenile Diabetes fundraising last year either. It was just before the holidays, and I figured folks weren't able to do both. :)

Our group had a bummer year raising money for Chiari this year. Signs of the times I guess.

I'm so happy to hear you met someone. Wish you lots of luck!

Steve- To answer your question, it is not something I sell, but something I use through my distributor website to help my customers see how many calories they burn at rest and what their BMI is.
I am working on putting it on my website.
