Well I have been in Utica, Ny where I grew up for two weeks now. Its been an interesting trip. A wedding, two graduation parties, my Grandpa died- had the service and the burial-he was 92 and has been having major issues since march- so it wasn't a huge surprise-I am just glad he isn't suffering-he will be missed greatly-we all loved him, Boilermaker 15K road race(9.3 miles).
Lots of temptations for food and beer. I have tried my best but its been tough. Love the pizza and the beers at the brewery-Saranac-home grown brews!

I do find summer the most tempting for me. I love to sit on the patio with a beer or a glass of wine in my hand and possibly nibbling away :) Sorry to hear about your grandfather, he lived to a good age. But it's never easy.
Glad you had a lot of fun amongst the sad. Hope you're healing and finding solace. Have a safe trip!
