Thigh tightness, Running

Yesterday I went for a 6.5 mile run and today my thigh is really tight. Any suggestions on what to do for it?

....I wonder why they wouldnt give me my PhD in Medicine. I'm clearly a genius.

Stretching - both the quads and the hamstrings.

Maybe more stretching, or even a break for a day ??

Ice first 24 hours, then heat.

Try an Advil and some stretching. And, I second not running until it feels better.

Warm up then do lots of long stretching. Stay in the stretches for quite a long time. But make sure to do a five or ten minute warm up first. Stretching cold muscles=ouch!
